Cultivating harmony and pleasure through a tangible artistic experience, with the intent of evoking deep and powerful emotions is how I view the purpose of my craft. I believe that through these sensory experiences we are capable of creating an indescribable richness for life, with the hope of fostering participation with the beauty of the world around us.
Music and verbal communication backed with positive emotion, for instance, are known to have profound effects on plants and their ability to flourish. This notion of actively and positively influencing our immediate environment through emotion or through music or simply by imparting love to people with whom we interact can have profound ripple effects.
Our daily lives surround us with stimuli; our interactions give us experiences. From time to time, we are flung into the midst of chaos whether we choose it or not. I seem to find myself constantly searching for harmony with the world around me. I feel deeply inspired by the notion that creating harmony begins with positive connections and experiences with everything and everyone around us; connections that are rooted in kindness, love and appreciation.
Through my craft, I strive to evoke complex, profound, and yet purely harmonious emotions. I believe my work to be tangible realizations of those moments of harmony that I always search for - joyful moments, which provoke thoughtful and passionate expression. I hope to share these moments with others.
